PRE-REGISTRATION OPEN: 50 PARTICIPANTS MAX
 
Official registrations will open on 20 May 2022 and will close on 10th SEPTEMBER 2022.
 
The start of the event is in Cagliari (at the port) on Saturday 1 October 2022 at 06:30
 
THERE IS NO TIME LIMIT
 
2 ROUTES: 1000 km and 600 km
It will be possible to change route even during the event, but the organization must be notified by sending a message to tel, otherwise the change of route will be considered "withdrawal".
The start and finish for the 2 routes will be in Cagliari.
The departure for the 2 routes will be simultaneous at 06.30 on Saturday 1 October 2022, however it could be subject to variations in the event of restrictions due to Covid 19, for example with staggered departure, in case indications will be given in time.
There is no time limit to complete the 2 routes, but the arrival will no longer be active for the hand delivery of the finisher certificates, from 4:00 pm on 5 October.
 
ATTENTION, PERSONAL INSURANCE
Each participant must have a personal health insurance, valid for the entire duration of the event. Anyone who does not comply with this requirement will not be considered regularly registered and will not be entitled to a refund of the registration fee.
 

Rules NatuRando
 
1) REGISTRATION
Anyone over 18 years of age can enroll in the NatuRando, who is in possession of a competitive sports medical certificate for "cycling", valid for the duration of the sporting event. It is possible to tackle the route alone or in a team, with people you met on the day of departure or with a group of friends. Given the characteristics of the route and the difficulties linked to the territory, each participant must be aware of their skills and preparation.
 
2) PERSONAL SECURITY:
a) ALWAYS wear a helmet, a jacket or high visibility reflective bands ALWAYS AT NIGHT (also recommended during the day),
b) FRONT and REAR lights on in the night progression, (ALWAYS RECOMMENDED ON),
c) respect for the law and the rules of the road.
 
3) THE ROAD AND THE RISKS
The route takes place on paved roads and will always be open to traffic.
Most of the route is on secondary roads with little traffic, but you will always have to pay attention and it is mandatory for all participants to respect the Highway Code.
Participants acknowledge that they are aware that the route is not signposted, they travel at their own risk and are considered to be on a free personal excursion without any additional rights compared to other road users. They are aware that there is no health, food and mechanical assistance service on the part of the organizers along the route; there is no recovery service for retired people and there are no research obligations on the part of the organizers of the participants on the route. The participant undertakes to communicate his / her withdrawal to the organizer by sending a message to the telephone number indicated at the start. The participant is aware that the organizers are relieved of any responsibility regarding eventualities that have occurred to the cyclist such as: accidents, loss of the route, physical problems, accidents, damage, theft, etc.
 
4) EXTERNAL ASSISTANCE
Along the routes there will be no organization checkpoints and assistance points.
It will be your task to develop the research and discover the various places to stop and that you will find useful and necessary, each one will have to organize the stops and supplies according to their needs, taking into account the countries crossed and the structures present along the routes.
Support to participants from third parties is not permitted in any form or at any time (IT IS ABSOLUTELY FORBIDDEN TO HAVE A CAR IN THE FOLLOWING, PENALTY THE EXPULSION FROM THE EVENT). If during the event the organization finds means to accompany an athlete, the latter will be immediately disqualified from the event. Incorrect behavior or against the regulation of the event will be punished with immediate expulsion of the participant.
 
5) THE GPX TRACK
A track of the route will be provided in gpx format (20 days before departure) which must be followed until arrival, again in CAGLIARI. The road must be followed in its entirety, without cuts or variations. Should you depart from it for any reason, voluntary or by mistake, you will have to pick it up from where it was left off.
At any time and for any reason related to your safety, traffic and road conditions, including road works, etc. you can abandon the track and resume it as soon as the conditions encountered have ceased and your safety guaranteed again.
 
6) THE SATELLITE DETECTION TRACKER
Each participant will receive, on loan for free use, for the duration of the event, a GPS satellite tracker, which will be delivered during the meeting on 1 October 2022 (INCLUDED IN REGISTRATION).
At the time of collection, each participant must pay a deposit of € 50 (fully refundable upon return of the device)
The participant is obliged to keep their satellite tracking device activated for the entire duration of the event (SUPPLIED, SeteTrack gps tracker).
In case of failure to track, the organization may decide at any time, subject to previous recall, the expulsion of the participant from the event.
 


7) CANCELLATION AND POSTPONEMENT OF THE EVENT
Registration for the event is valid only for the current edition.
a) Cancellation
If, due to force majeure that does not depend on the organization, but from environmental and / or health reasons at a national or international level, the event cannot take place, the amount paid at the time of registration will not be refunded but will be considered valid. for the next edition.
b) Displacement
Furthermore, for reasons of force majeure or other serious reasons, which could jeopardize the preparation of the event or the participation in it by a number of people not less than half of the members, the Organization reserves the right to move the place and / or date of the event within the same calendar year. In this case, the fee paid for registration will be valid for the event on the rescheduled date, without increasing costs for members. In this case, it is not possible to move the registration to the following year's edition.
 
8) THE MANDATORY EQUIPMENT
Each participant is in possession of the following mandatory minimum safety equipment, failing which the participant will not be able to take part in the event:
a) adequate helmet
b) front lighting system
c) adequate rear lighting system
d) high visibility reflective jacket
 
9) RECOMMENDATIONS
a) The organization advises participants not to pedal at night and in any case in which there is low visibility or conditions of poor safety. If you decide to do so, the use of an adequate front and rear lighting system is mandatory
b) When you go away and leave your bicycle unattended even for a few minutes (to enter a market, shop, bar, hotel b & b, etc.) it is a good idea to make sure, during these situations, that the bike is locked with a padlock or placed in a safe place in sight.
 
10) RECORDINGS, FINISHERS and SATELLITE TRACKER
Upon departure, it is mandatory to register by signing your name and surname on the printout managed by the organization which will indicate the time of departure and arrival which will have value for the calculation of the official travel time to be included in the finisher certificate.
While those who reach the arrival point after 16:00 on October 5 will find the arrival point inactive, they will have to take a photo, add the arrival time and send the message to the telephone number indicated at departure. (FINISHER CERTIFICATES WILL BE SENT BY EMAIL).
The satellite trackers will be withdrawn in any case and the deposits returned.
 

FINAL RULES
 
By registering with Naturando, the participant declares:
 
to have read and approved this regulation and to accept every part of it;
 
to have become aware that the event is a test of endurance with considerable physical and psychophysical effort;
 
to be aware that the track may not always be in good condition, some sections can be very bumpy and require good driving technique;
 
to have experience in GPS navigation;
 
to have experience and to be aware that the route is not marked and there are no safety posts and / or rescue personnel along the route;
 
to have experience and to be aware of the possibility of encountering adverse weather conditions and to know how to adapt or find solutions to these situations;
 
to be physically prepared to face many hours on a bike without stopping and in complete self-sufficiency;
 
not to resort to doping or drugs or medicinal substances that could alter performance or cause situations of harm or danger to oneself or to others;
 
to have all the necessary material to take part in this type of adventure and to know how to proceed independently;
 
to be aware that unexpected events may occur along the route, such as landslides, strong sunshine, wind, rain, hail, lightning, cold, night, dark, fog, snow, ice, landslides, encounters with unattended and / or wild animals, falls, accidental collisions with other participants or with people passing by and / or with vehicles and declares to be adequately prepared to deal with emergency situations;
 
that your vehicle, material and equipment used are in excellent condition;
 
to act as guarantor of their behavior during and after the event;
 
to undertake to personally guard your items (tent, caravan, camper, sleeping bag, bike, backpack, equipment, etc.) along the route, at any check points and at the Departure Base and to know that the organization of the the event is not liable for any damage or theft that it may possibly suffer;
 
that the medical aptitude certificate for cycling practice complies with Ministerial Decree 18/02/1982 and / or Ministerial Decree 26/04/2013 issued by a Sports Medical Center or by a doctor;
 
to be in good physical and psychological condition and to have undergone an aptitude medical examination for competitive cycling or cycling, providing the organization with the widest indemnity for any damage it may suffer as a result of its participation in the event;
 
also relieves the organization of any civil and criminal liability, even objective, as a result of injuries caused to myself or to third parties and to illnesses occurring during the event or in the days before or after;
 
to consent to the use of your data, including for commercial purposes, in accordance with the provisions of the Privacy Law no. 196 of 30/06/2003;
 
to grant the organizers the widest possible consent to the use, in the ways permitted by law, including for profit, of each of its video, photographic images, etc. shooting on the days of the event, providing the organization with the right to transfer these images to third parties from the moment of registration;
 
to accept that the organization declines all responsibility for itself and for its collaborators, for accidents or damage to people or things, which may occur before, during and after the event or as a result of the same;
 
to comply with any anti-covid 19 regulations in force at the time the event will take place and to have a careful behavior in this sense when you are indoors and with other people (see accommodation facilities, departures, etc.) .
 
The organization reserves the right to exclude from the event cyclists who will have an incorrect behavior before, during and after the event.
